Our Pulao Rice Spice Mix creates a famous dish dating back to the rule of Persia’s Mughal Empire. The ancestor of today’s pilaf, it is often served at festivals. No Indian meal is complete without a flavorful rice side dish!

RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Makes 4 Servings
1 packet of Sukhi’s Pulao Rice Spice Mix
1 cup basmati rice (rinsed and drained)
2 tbsp. oil
2 cups of water

METHOD:
In 2 quart saucepan, heat oil on medium high heat. Add entire contents of Pulao Rice Spice Mix and saute for 3-5 seconds. Add basmati rice and water, then cover. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is fully cooked and water is absorbed. Add salt to taste.

INGREDIENTS:
Cumin, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Bay Leaves
